The KEYID protocol defines several types of account requests, similar to applying for bank cards, loss reporting, freezing, and unfreezing.
Types of account request
1. Replace recovery phrase - Normal Mode
2. Replace recovery phrase - Expedited Mode
3. Replace recovery phrase - Emergency Mode
4. Re-authorize - Normal Mode
5. Re-authorize - Expedited Mode
6. Recover account - Normal Mode
7. Recover account - Expedited Mode
8. Freeze Account
9. Unfreeze account - Normal Mode
10. Unfreeze account - Expedited Mode
Replace recovery phrase
You will need this when changing a new phrase or lost it.
Normal Mode: Enter the originally available recovery phrase, copy new recovery phrase generated randomly by APP, and wait for 21 days to take effect.
Expedited Mode: Enter the originally available recovery phrase, copy new recovery phrase generated randomly by APP, get verified by the emergency contact, and usually take effect on the same day.
Emergency Mode: Enter the password, copy new recovery phrase generated randomly by APP, get verified by the emergency contact, and wait for 30 days to take effect.
Re-authorize
You need to initiate this request when your account status is unavailable or you are told to re-authorize.
Normal Mode: Enter the originally available recovery phrase, the new permission is generated by APP randomly, and wait for 7 days to take effect.
Expedited Mode: Enter the originally available recovery phrase, the new permission is generated by APP randomly, get verified by the emergency contact, and usually take effect on the same day.
Recover account
You need to initiate this request when you need to import the original MYKEY account on a new phone.
Normal Mode: Enter the originally available recovery phrase, the new permission is generated by APP randomly, freeze the account, and wait for 7 days to take effect.
Expedited Mode: Enter the originally available recovery phrase,the new permission is generated by APP randomly, freeze the account, get verified by the emergency contact, and take effect on the same day.
Freeze account
You can enter the recovery phrase to freeze account immediately when you suspect that your account has any risks.
Unfreeze account
You can unfreeze account when you think the account is not at risk.
Normal Mode: Enter the originally available recovery phrase and wait for 7 days to take effect.
Expedited Mode: Enter the originally available recovery phrase, verify by the emergency contact, and take effect on the same day.
