What is the recovery phrase
The recovery phrase is the highest permission of the MYKEY account. You can manage the account by the recovery phrase.
Format of the recovery phrase
It is composed of 12 Chinese or English words
Where to view the recovery phrase
Open from "Me > Manage Account > Export Recovery Phrase"
What can I do with the recovery phrase
The recovery phrase is required to initiate the following account management requests
- Replace recovery phrase - Normal Mode
- Replace recovery phrase - Expedited Mode
- Replace recovery phrase - Emergency Mode
- Re-authorize - Normal Mode
- Re-authorize - Expedited Mode
- Freeze Account
- Unfreeze account - Normal Mode
- Unfreeze account - Expedited Mode
- Recover account - Normal Mode
- Recover account - Expedited Mode
- Cancel any of the above management requests
- Reset password with recovery phrase
You do not need the recovery phrase when using MYKEY such as transfer, use dapp.
You need the recovery phrase when you find that your MYKEY account has security risks, or you have lost the recovery phrase or phone.
